Writing has always been a cathartic release. A majority of my work was stories but then I started writing stories. That is how I stumbled upon this course. Now I have a definitive story which I hope to publish one day. There were only six people in this workshop so we had individualised attention and each story that we wrote was ripped apart and fleshed out. So we know where we are headed now. Usually with the volume of people in other workshops, you don't get this kind of attention. I got the attention my writing needed.
Niti I must say this... You made this Workshop so enjoyable, so enriching for us! You shared your expertise and vast study and knowledge with us, wholeheartedly and so positively.! You gave us such impetus that we all started to believe in our ability to pen a few lines... I now feel confident enough to share my written work with whoever that's willing to read it. You and Saurin were so welcoming and hospitable... Thank you both and Prateek from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to Mane for assisting us with everything! Im truly blessed to have you as one of my Gurus
Thank you, everyone, for the last two weekends. It was such a pleasure trading stories and sharing experiences with each and every one of you!I count myself lucky to have found this oasis in the midst of Mumbai’s hustle and bustle. I hope we can continue to meet, share and critique each other’s work as we grow as writers. Our own version of the Vienna Circle perhaps?
